Collection Stations
Acceptable Recyclable Materials
Below is a list of items that the collection stations will accept for disposal:
Acceptable Materials:
- All recyclables except glass and Plastic, including:
- Aluminum Cans
- Cardboard
- Magazines
- Metal Cans
- Newspapers
- Household Waste
Unacceptable Materials
- Commercial/business waste (Accepted at the Transfer Station for a fee)
- Construction Debris (Accepted at the Transfer Station for a fee)
- Glass and Plastic Recyclables (Accepted at the Recycling Center)
- Household Hazardous Waste (Accepted at the HHW Facility)
- Organic Waste (Accepted at the Compost Facility)
- Refrigerated Appliances (Accepted at the Refrigerant Facility)
- All materials that are unacceptable for the Transfer Station and the HHW facility are also rendered unacceptable for the Collection Stations because of the safety risks that they pose to the attendants and facility users.
